In Dallas, TX at the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence (NPEIV). I serve as the Co-Chair of the Publicity and Public Relations Action Team on the Executive Committee. NPEIV is a collective of over 150 state and federal organizations and agencies. At the end of this post, you’ll see the infamous Washington DC blizzard of 2010!

Shattering The Silence of Domestic Violence

 Angelica Torn has also appeared in many films including, The Sixth Sense and The Contender as well as in a number of television shows, including Law and Order, The Sopranos, and In The Line of Fire. Torn has a wealth of award-winning theater credits including The Vagina Monologues, Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, the Edge as Sylvia Plath, and most recently in the Tony Award winning August: Osage County playing in Chicago Tuesday through Feb. 14 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St.  For her riviting performance in this play, Angelica was recently nominated for a prestegious Helen Hayes Award.  I had the great pleasure of spending time with Angelica at PAVE’s red carpet Gala “Removing the Mask” in Los Angeles.

PAVE Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment is an international, grassroots nonprofit that uses art, education and action to shatter the silence of sexual and domestic violence.
